Why the Name, EncelaPulse?

EncelaPulse takes its name from Enceladus, a giant in Greek mythology and the son of Gaia, the Earth itself, and Uranus, the sky. In the myth, Enceladus joins his fellow Titans in a rebellion against the Olympian gods. For his defiance, he is struck down by Athena and buried beneath Mount Etna, where his rumblings are said to cause volcanic eruptions and earthquakes.

This story of overwhelming force pinned under pressure is immortalized in the Gardens of Versailles. There, Enceladus is captured in sculpture at the very moment of collapse, crushed beneath the weight of Olympus, eyes open in fury, still resisting.

It is a fitting metaphor for ensemble phasing: overwhelming, structural, often invisible, and powerful enough to crush momentum in every rep.

The name has another layer. Enceladus is also a moon of Saturn, known for its icy surface and rhythmic geysers that erupt from a global ocean hidden beneath. These perfectly timed pulses offer a second meaning that speaks directly to the mission.

EncelaPulse was built to tame the forces that disrupt musical timing. To bring rhythm out of chaos. And to align every beat, everywhere on the field.
